Animals are my passion, my past time, my occupation and my way of life. I specialise in unique portraits of pets and animals. I love to capture your beloved companion's spirit and personality, and get to know my subjects and my clients in the process! I work closely with you to create a stunning piece of art that you'll treasure forever.

What’s involved in the process?


Please contact me to discuss a commission. We would start with deciding upon size, medium and framing options, then have a chat about your pet. What is he/she like?

Which characteristics, features and quirks would you like reflected in the artwork?
What colours, background or other inclusions would you like?

Timeframes


Timeframes can vary from 2 to 6 weeks or possibly longer, depending on the size and medium of your choosing.

If there is a particular date that you have in mind for completion, I will do my very best to accommodate it!

 

What do I need to create your portrait?

 

To create a stunning, accurate portrayal of your best mate, several high resolution photos are essential. 

These photos can show light and dark contrasts and characteristics and traits which are intrinsic to your fur baby.
I also love to have a chat about your pet, their personality and the bond you have with them - what makes them special?

I offer a variety of sizes, mediums and finishing options to create the perfect piece for you.

prismacolour pencil on paper

Your portrait will be created on your choice of white, toned tan or black high quality paper and seated in a presentation folder.

A4 size (21cm x 29.7cm) - $180

A3 size (29.7 x 42cm) - $220

*custom sizes also available.

canvas prints~prismacolour

Canvas prints can be arranged and are supplied in addition to your original drawing.

A4 (21 cm x 29.7cm x 2.5cm) an additional $50

A3 (29.7cm x 42cm x 2.5cm) - an additional $60

framing~prismacolour

Framing for prismacolour pencil on paper portraits can be arranged as per your preference of colour, material and margins.

A4 size (21cm x 29.7cm) - an additional $30

A3 size (29.7 x 42cm) - an additional $40

oil on canvas

Your portrait will be painted with oil on a stretched canvas, framed and ready to hang.
