My name is Cath Sirett.
I am an Australian artist, based in the Snowy Mountains, NSW.
I draw my inspiration from the unique people, animals and landscapes in the Snowies, and beyond.
My animals often like to become involved in my art, whether it be our hand-raised merino wethers, two black steeds, our two dogs, Walter and Poppy or the numerous chickens wandering around!
One of my main objectives when producing a piece is to capture ONE overarching and striking concept - whether it be emotion, light, colour, movement or character.
I aim to produce emotive and authentic pieces, which transport the viewer into the art and provide them with a sense of the subject.
